Feng Shui Tip | What is Feng Shui, and How Does It Affect My Home?

The following is a tip from Feng Shui Specialist Sam Plovie of QiPro Sam.

What is Feng Shui, and How Does It Affect My Home?

Feng Shui is the art and science of how a space will affect you, and your home is the most important 'space' that will affect you as it taps into the Qi arriving to it.

Qi is a vital life force energy within our environment and is the core element of Feng Shui.

When you incorporate Feng Shui into your home design, you cultivate a more harmonious and balanced space that encourages prosperity, health, and wellbeing.

Feng Shui helps you create an environment that is more inviting and supportive of your goals and objectives, allowing you to move through life with greater ease.

And when you follow Feng Shui principles, you align with your natural environment, creating a space that is conducive to a successful and peaceful life.

Does my home need to be decorated with Chinese artifacts to meet Feng Shui principles?

No.

This is one of my biggest pet peeves; misinformation and sales!

Feng Shui requires no waving kitty in your front window, lucky bamboo in a specific corner, or money frog at your front door.

These are all fun objects that can inspire a happy thought and literally bring a smile to your face, however, they do nothing to enhance Feng Shui.

Popularized by Western Feng Shui that loves to sell you trinkets and speaks to 'love corners' or 'career doors' this is all incorrect. There are no 'special' corners in Feng Shui and you don't need to make a huge investment or buy trinkets.

Feng Shui is your foundation, it's like a stage you walk upon to live your life, and the goal is to have you supported at centre-stage.

When you don't know the Feng Shui of your home, you may miss that important spotlight, or trip on an unseen trap door...

To summarize; Western Feng Shui is static and has a one size fits all approach. Correct Eastern Feng Shui is dynamic and focuses on time, specific house placement, the people who live there and what their goals are.

Can I use Feng Shui in the design of the home I'm building?

Yes.

This is the PERFECT time to incorporate Feng Shui into your home!

When we design a floor plan that aligns you with the energy affecting the home you are building, you save time, money and stress!

Decisions are simplified by knowing where the primary bedroom needs to be, which part of the home is the most effective home office, and where the front door is to receive the best energy.

Feng Shui isn't rocket science; it's the simple art of understanding how the space will affect you.

How to unlock the benefits of Feng Shui in your existing home!

Feng Shui can be applied to any home, at any stage.

While most efficient at build stage, I work with clients all over the world before they purchase a home, as they move in, and before they renovate.

A quick assessment of your home will provide an energy map that clearly identifies key areas to use more, and areas to use less.

This map also reveals the most restful bedroom for each person, individual achievements and potential challenges for each person living there, and provides actionable directives to achieve optimal results.

Feng Shui is perfect anytime, for anyone, anywhere.

The real question isn't; "do you understand how Feng Shui affects your home?"

It's about whether you are ready to live your life with Feng Shui principles for more ease, abundance and wellness.

Big Q... simple answer.
